We're an authorized dealer of Yield-Plus liquid plant food, covering central and western Missouri. It's available in 3-18-18 and 10-20-10 formulas and can be used in-furrow or as a foliar application. Yield-Plus has a low salt index, zero heavy metals, and tight quality control standards — making it safe for near-seed application.
How does liquid fertilizer compare to dry fertilizer in cost?
10 gallons of our Yield-Plus 3-18-18 is comparable to 100 units of dry P&K broadcast, but at roughly one-third less cost. It also supports up to 200 bushels of corn without requiring additional dry fertilizer.
What nitrogen product do you recommend?
We offer and recommend UAN 29.6-0-0-3S, a urea ammonium nitrate blend that includes sulfur. The sulfur helps prevent nitrogen leaching during extreme weather while also addressing soil sulfur needs — a common issue in Missouri soils.
How do you apply nitrogen for corn?
We offer two options: a single soil application before or at planting, or a split application — 100 lbs before or after planting, then sidedressing 50 lbs when corn is 2–4 feet tall. Our sidedress method uses two-foot drop tubes every 30 inches with a stream nozzle on our row crop sprayer.
